Seek protection from inside the castle walls, safe and protected – numb and empty; predictable and uneventful, and yet the chaos invades – it always finds a way. Nobody in sight, nobody around. Nobody can hear my silent sounds, for they remain in the shadows, deep in the mountain. Security never felt so bland. Not even the lack of stable fixation can perturb the stillness, the emptiness, the… banality. What is next? though I’m aware that I may avoid to mitigate risk, nay actually remove it? These castle walls are reinforced, though is there ever enough layers of defence, for there lies barbarians and they want to take your soul. Have I gotten too proficient at survival? Self-imposed zombie apocalypse runaway state.
